My strategy was to run very high compression---14.5 to 1 if possible and by using water injection, i would still be able to run 87 octane. Mileage would probably go up to at least 24 mpg.
But the more i think about it, i feel the truck, in it's present state is basically serving me well; i'm not using it as my main transportation so it would probably not be worth the changeover hassle.
But we should still discuss it because it could be very important to our future.
