I have an '82 swb and I'm planning a 6.0 swap. I've found a couple sites that offer "kits" like this one.http://www.brphotrods.com/products/73-87%20Truck/index.html (http://www.brphotrods.com/products/73-87%20Truck/index.html)
My question is, outside of what's address in this link, what else should I be considering.
I have a "buddy" that owns a salvage yard and is willing to find the motor, trans, harness and fuel pump from one donor truck.
Between the link and my buddy, I'm not sure what else I need to consider as a part of this swap.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you. Have already started.

I wouldn't say that that link is a waste of money, they have quality kits that are running in many vehicles. I have a set of BRP Headers that were planned to go on the Blazer that I am building.
I have pieced these together, there are several ways to get a one stop solution. Holley even makes every component required to bolt an LS in, as in all you need is the engine.
Scotty (Tejas Steel Works) also makes LS swap parts.
You can see every step of my LS swap process here:

I'm not saying brphotrods has bad stuff but it sure is high. I got a local radiator shop to build an aluminum radiator for my 87 with shroud and dual 14" fans for 480 compared to their 975. Take your time and be patient with it. If you use an e78 ecm with your swap, I can try and help out as much as I can with the harness.

Also use that link to help reference other parts you need.

That’s expensive stuff
An 87 gas tank was $99 at rock auto
Then you buy the newer pump
The harness mods are easy if you don’t remove the un needed wires
If you just cut them and wrap um up in the harness
Stock camaro exhaust manifolds work and we paid $50 for a used set
We used a LS from a pickup The stock oil pan worked fine on my 4wd
If you have room , I’d buy the entire donor car
Take what you need and then sell what’s left
