Largest tire size achieved with 2 inch lift?
« on: February 25, 2019, 06:17:09 PM »
I've got my 1985 K20 with 2-inch blocks and an add a leaf in the rear, and 2-inch lift in front. What is the largest tire size any of yall have squeezed under there with a 2-inch lift?

I'd guess 33 or 35 inch tires. Hopefully  someone that knows will comment.

Should be 33" if you want full suspension articulation and no body panel trimming.

A lot depends on the width & offset of your rims.

I’ve run 33 with no lift

Depends a lot on the wheels and if you don’t mind it running a little when you turn in a driveway or something

Skyjacker has a chart: https://skyjacker.com/skyjacker-tire-and-wheel-chart-download/

As others have said...it does depend on the wheel and tire combo and how you use the truck.  My opinion is that I want full articulation of suspension without rubbing or trimming fenders.

Irish_Alley, I meant suspension lift. Blocks in the rear. Thanks for the info.

I got 275/70R18 on my C20 with 1.5 lift blocks in the rear and 454 front coils.  They should be 33.4" tall.  I'd think 33's or maybe 34's on a 4x4.
