1973 Blazer Half Cab Hard Top

Anyone know anything about these?  I've heard of them before, but I've never seen one in person or seen one for sale...

Until last week.  I found this for sale and bought it for $350.00

I've had 3 full convertible Blazers and with all of them I've pretty much removed the full hard top and it's never been back on again.  For my last two I had customer convertible half cab tops made by this upholstery shop in Oregon that always worked great.  I've always wanted one of these, just never found one before.  I go to pick it up first thing tomorrow morning, in fact I'm leaving here at 5:00am in an effort to beat some crazy SoCal traffic and then beat feet home to get to work.

Anyone have any information on these things?  After I get it home I'll clean it up and take some better pictures of it and post them to this thread.

It's going on this...

this place sells them.http://www.usbodysource.com/ click on 73-87 chevy trucks on the left hand menu. I have seen one blazer in real life that had one of these half tops. It also had a midgate that bolted to the bedsides and completely sealed off the cab from the bed. Other than this I have no more info on them. I made a 2 piece top for a 73 I had when I was younger. I used the half top from a newer model and cut the 73 top and molded the rear section of the metal top that half top bolted to. It worked out pretty cool but was alot of work.

Well I got the Half Cab Hard Top home today, haven't had a chance to wash it or clean it up but here's a few pictures nonetheless...

There's a steel manufactures tag on the inside...

Haven't done anything with it yet except to wash it and store it in a dry shop.

One of these days...  It's supposedly was on a 73 Blazer, hope it is compatible with a 1975 Jimmy.
