1984 3 speed manual
« on: March 12, 2018, 08:49:31 PM »
I hate to bore everyone with this question.  I have searched and can not find the specific OEM transmission for my 1984 250 CID 3 on the tree.  The transmission was replaced in the early 90's (long story).

I'm pretty sure I have an older Saginaw now, but all I can find when looking up the info online or in FSM is that it had a 76 mm 3 speed.  Might one of you kind souls know if the 84 came with a Saginaw, a BW, New Process, or a Muncie 3 Speed?

I'm looking to buy an OEM 3 speed to rebuld and install. I may just have to rebuild what I have. In process now of rebuilding 3 Speed column.

Cheers,

jbsealy

Hi Zieg85,

I was hoping there would be others on this forum that might have an OEM 3 speed laying around and they might include a price since I indicated I wanted to buy a used 3 speed trans for my 1984.

The WTB forum here does not seem too active.  Last post was Dec 2017.

Thank you for your post.

WTB or any classified ads require site supporter status.  It has never really been active and I've been apart of the forum for over 10 years.  There are a lot of Facebook groups for that activity.
