help ASAP

I have 2 700r4 tranys one is good one is toast the good one has a long shaft the other a short shaft I need to put the sort shaft in the other tranny how hard it this

You have to tear down the trans. If you know how to do it, it's not hard, but since it sounds like you don't know how to do it Don't try it. Bring it to someone who knows what they are doing.

thanks for the info we already bought the books and have the first one torn down its not that bad I have just never done an auto trans before

hey its done (doing the happy dance) the books made it all work without them it would still be a mess

just figure it would be easyer to leave it a manual then change to AT I would probably prefer an AT in the long run though
and yes its a grany trany now
