1984 Silverado Stepside wiper issue
« on: January 14, 2020, 07:52:54 PM »
Yesterday, I caught my 1984 Silverado wiper blade doing a windshield wipe without the key in the ignition and I have my suspicion what the issue is. I have located a electrical module box that located by steering column and I believe it is the Wiper Pulse Delay Module - See picture.
I want to know if my suspicion is correct and where can it be purchased from along with the correct wiper blades for the wiper arm with tab and raised button at arm end. Thanks!

You can simply unplug and plug the connectors together to see if it still happens. If you determine the module is bad, they are available aftermarket but getting harder to find. 15598496
