Average price on a machined LQ4/9 block

I'm getting ready to start this build and have contacted a couple people thus far as far as prices. For a short block thats been machined, whats the average price on one, or at least a fair price? Block. machine work, no over-boring. ????

I know the price varies in region. I'm in the SE, GA specifically.

Whats a good deal? Whats over-paying?
