Hey guys and gals this is my first post on here. So I picked up a decent 85 k10 here in ma without too much rust. I currently have the 305 out and am getting ready to drop in the 350. This is my first engine swap so I'm looking for any pointers that i can get. It's a 4 speed manual with no granny. I took it out without removing the transmission just disconnects it from the clutch. Getting it back in place seems like it might be a struggle. Other than that anyone have any tips? I'm removing smog pump and most other emission crap. Not needed here to pass. Any thing I def need to keep for truck to run good? Later tonight I'll upload some pics.
