Dual Tanks...are they the same part number?
« on: December 18, 2017, 11:31:59 AM »
1987 GMC High Sierra 3500, 350cid, TBI, dual tanks. I'm replacing both tanks and pumps. I have the replacement numbers for the primary and auxiliary pumps, yet I have been unable to determine if both sides take GM1C tanks. Would any of you be able to confirm?
Thanks,
Steve

the tanks are the same drivers to passengers side, I just put the drivers side tank back in on the passenger side the other week when i found a hole in that tank since the drivers tank was already out

Thank-you, for your reply. I've order two for my '87 GMC. One was long overdue (PO hadn't changed it...leaked fuel as soon as it was added).
