Cab Mount Question
« on: May 04, 2020, 06:26:46 PM »
Been a while since I've been on the forums. Thankful that you guys are still around to help people like me!!

Anyway, a while back, I changed out the cab mount bushings and went with urethane. The original rubber bushings were definitely shot, and I thought I'd like the urethane....but I didn't. It made everything in the cab vibrate. I finally got around to ordering some rubber bushings, but I'm not sure that I have everything I need.

Is there supposed to be some kind of spacer or sleeve inside the front rubber bushing to keep you from tightening it too much? It's been too long ago that I don't remember what the front cab bushings were like. The rear ones have the one piece spacer/washer through the middle of them, but the front cab mounts don't have it. From what I've read, the bolts should be at 55 ft lbs, and there's no way that you can do that without some kind of metal spacer in there to tighten down against.

Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated!!
