As I previously said, I got my backyard paint booth rebuilt after it got destroyed by the huricane winds and I am working again on my truck. As shown a couple of post ago I completed my DS Fender and I am now working on the PS fender. Almost done with body  work and painting. Also working the back plate that goes just above the front bumper.

I have finally completed my PS Fender, Front Bumper Back plate trim, and the cowl. Feels good to be done with both fenders and the other parts. It takes awhile to do a two tone paint with the double painted pin stripes. Can start getting the front end put back together. Feels like I am starting to make progress after feeling like it has been dragging on slowly.

Got my Regulators, Vent Window, Windows installed in my doors. I painted the two tone and pin stripes on the cab corners. Also painted the Vintage Air Gen IV firewall cover plate to match the firewall. I sprayed the backside of the cover plate with a ruberized coating. Still have a long way to go, at least I am now putting my truck back together instead of tearing it apart.

Had bad weather for a few days and this morning at 1:30am got high winds from the hurricane remnants that blew through. High winds destroyed my paint booth and got lucky my fenders did not get damaged after all the work I put into them. My 6' privacy fence had about 40 feet of it blown down and had to do yard clean up.

Had a little just a little time to work on my truck and installed the firewall A/C covers that I had painted. The one for the Blower Motor/Fan hole and the Heater Box hole. Hope to make some quick progress on the rest if weather permits.

Was a nice day today! Putting in my Vintage A/C System and the firewall pad. Using sockets to melt holes for the A/C lines, bolts, and Etc.

Made a little progress today by getting my new Firewall Pad and Vintage Air Gen IV under dash A/C unit in. It was quit a bit more work than I expected. The lines had to be adjusted a few times to fit the holes and I actually got my wife to help me get the mounting bolts started while I held the unit in the truck. Getting my wife to help me do any work on my truck is a big deal. She avoids having anything to do with working on my truck. However, it was greatly appreciated, since I would not have been able to get the unit in without her help.

The firewall pad needed some holes cut out and there are a few that needed to be reshaped and a couple that was not needed. I spent a little bit of time over a few days to get the firewall pad to work and to get the A/C unit installed under the dash.

Awesome... I've wanted one of those vintagesair units for a long time. I think that first one I experienced was in a restored '69 c10. Night and day from the 80's technology under the hood and dash right now.

Thanks all! Not cheap, hope the air blows nice and cool when done. Wish I could spend more time on my truck. Only work on it now and then when I don't have to do other things. Doing some storm damage work around the house! Hope to get it all together before long.

Wonder what others think about using a cowl induction hood. I have a steel one with a 3" cowl on it. Then I also have the original hood. Was thinking about just using the original hood. I bought the cowl hood new some time ago and just never used it.

Some cowl hoods look awesome. Factory hoods look great too. The only hoods I dislike are snorkels, hickeys and I'm not a huge fan of the center ridge cowl hoods especially if it's a large version.  You're making good progress and hey, I look at it as an adventure as opposed to lack of progress ;)

Thanks Shifty! Was kinda leaning towards keeping my original hood.
