Trailering Special
« on: March 25, 2013, 04:33:21 PM »
I have a 77 Chevy that is Trailering Special, it has a 400/th350 and 4wd. I don't know much about a trailering special as this is the only one I have seen. Anyone know what it would be worth?

Neat truck but nothing special unfortunately.  HD shocks and maybe 1 extra leaf, and trans cooler.  Probably came with a class 3 hitch from the dealer.

I have a 79 trailering special. They are kind of a rare bird. Mine is a GMC, came with a 350/350, oil/trans cooler, 2wd, 12 bolt with ls, hitch/wiring, big towing mirrors and fancy badge by the door(talk about hard to find. I am missing one). I've been told it has a 3/4 ton rear springs. I also have a in bed spare tire hold down. Nice rig!

Trailering packages were very common on the early model trucks, so it isn't a rare bird.
