Title: Sport bumper Brackets

Is there any reason the bumper brackets off a '77 3/4 ton suburban wouldn't work to put a sport bumper on my K10 ?

  says he suburban and K10 brackets are different, but the ones on the suburban I have look like the pickup set they sell. 

If it's not going to work I don't want to pull everything apart to find out.

The rear frames are different.  Suburban and Blazer are angled down in back and the middle frame brackets differ
