no fire

i did a carb swap from tbi in an 88 chevy got the alternator battery and starter all wired up and distributor but no fire? anybody done that? and any suggestions. there are alot of extra wires from the tbi. but not sure if one of them has to be wired to somethin

So you eliminated the TBI?  ??? bad move lol

What do you mean no fire? No start or are you saying no spark? You'll have to elaborate a little more. What do you have a gm HEI? Are you getting spark? Do you have fuel? Is it timed correctly? Correct firing order?
