Hello from sunny Las Vegas!
« on: December 24, 2018, 12:39:43 PM »
Hi, all! I'm active duty military in the Air Force currently stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. I am currently truck less since I sold my '72 while I was deployed. Someone offered me a stupid amount of money for my non-working truck (timing issues). Anyway, I'm saving money and looking to get an '85 since thats my birth year; I thought it would be neat to own a truck as old as I am. Until I find a truck I'll be getting my truck porn from here! Glad to be a part of the team!

Welcome.

Try not to get in a hurry so you can find one in the condition you want. There are a lot of them for sale in all sorts of condition, so be aware of the one you find.

Thanks, Roy. Luckily I'm in the southwest so even cars that have been neglected still "look" okay. Not a lot of moisture or salt around these parts for the rust to feed off of. That being said, I haven noticed a lot of dry rot in the rubber hoses and gaskets...not to mention the damage the sun does to the interior of non-protected vehicles.  I appreciate you looking out.
