Any reason to use Polyurethane over standard?

Easier to find and more durable?   Those were my reasons---for the trans tailshaft mount.   Works great.  (Energy Suspension)

i think the reason why enthusiasts do it is because they are more firm and durable.

Thanks Stewart, I have the front end re-build using Energy, may as well keep on going.

Yeah, i'm really happy with the product;   My trans mount was shot and i didn't realize what was causing the problem of the front end to hop up and down when i came to a stop light.   i didn't realize it was the mount until i tried swapping in the 4.3----had to get it centered in order to drill holes for the engine mount to frame perches.   i could NOT get it centered, then finally saw the trans mount----in two pieces.

But yeah, i think they make a great product.
