sending unit ground tab broke??
« on: August 24, 2006, 08:06:00 PM »
I had a fuel line break on me and in the process of changing it, the little ground tab that sticks up broke off. Any suggestions? I called the parts store and its 250.00 for a new one. I was thinking since my passenger tank is junk, could I just take the sending unit out of that one and put it in the driver one. Is there anything i would have to do leave the pass tank out for good? Or is there a way to fix the broken tab? It broke off even so I cant really tell where its supposed to go. If anyone maight have a picture of one so i could see where its supposed to go, that would help too. Thanks for any help.
