thinkin of going e85 i am 13.1 compression  want to no the up and downs for the street  i am now running 110 vp race fuel  to much money cant really afford to drive it on the street dont like putting additive in fuel pings on 91 and lead additive

E85 required more volume of fuel than comparable gasoline. 
You will have to throw away all your rubber lines and you will need a new fuel filter and (probably need to get a couple) as the E85 is going to clean out anything currently in the system.  You will also need a alcohol compatible pump, and depending on the carbe you will have to completely rebuild it removing any rubber parts that the fuel will encounter, OR buy a specific E85 Carb if you are looking for the most out of this fuel.

thanks boss i dont have much rubber line i run that new russel alky line on my truck and my boat boat has a 572 blown on alky some tines i run 30 percent  nitro but back to the truck i have a alky piston pump an e85 carb but it is hard to chuse 265a gallon for e85 and 795agollon for race gas

People are finding out that the 105 octane rating is a little high.  The real number seems to becoming closer to 94-98.  At 13 to 1 you might be too high for e85.
