« on: September 07, 2008, 07:41:43 AM »
i have an 82 k10 w/ a 305.  anyone know the cheapest way to buy a kit to do full headers, x pipe, mufflers?  dont care if it goes over the axel or not...

Do you have emissions? The cheapest kit would be the one sold on here which is the x pipe, and mufflers, and then to buy long tube headers from a place like summit.

yea, so I dunno if it'll work on a 4x4...and i'm not into the summit kit i saw, it didn't have a cross over pipe, it was 2 straight pipes out the sides...Not into the farm truck sound...I'm trying to aviod having to fabricate up a universal x-pipe kit, plus i'd prefer  go over the axel... i did that before and it's a pain in the :(...

Your best bet is to go to an exhaust shop and do a cash deal.

Would that be Warner Robins? Oooops, did I say that? Some people may not appreciate the comment about military towns until they've experienced it.

The X pipe we sell is for 4x2 Only.  I would take it to a shop and have them do it.  Shouldn't be much over $250 or so...

Capt, any plans for the store to start selling a 4x4 compatible true dual system?

I have asked the company that makes the one we have and they weren't interested.  Dynomax supposedly makes a dual setup for these, or so I have heard.
