86 K10 4x4 4 speed with granny gear hydrolic.How hard is it to put a new clutch on this tranny? and what are the steps?  

1986 Chevrolet K10 Swb "Women love the hood scoop"
1997 Chevrolet K10 Lwb "Dunno what women love"

How experience are you with autos?

To get the clutch out you are going to have to remove the hydraulic lines to the clutch, remove the driveshafts, remove the trans crossmembers, remove/support the trans/transfer case, remove the bellhousing, remove the pressure plate/clutch, remove the flywheel.  Take the flywheel to get it turned and purchase a new clutch kit (pressure plate, clutch and throw out bearing).  And reverse the proceedure.

what to do with the transfer case? Remove it before the trany or remove it with the trany
