1982 K10 No Start

Hey guys, I have a '82 K10 that I'm having trouble with. Nothing happens when I turn the key, no clicks, no lights, no horn, no gauges work either. I have removed both fusible links at the starter, changed the ignition switch twice, and replaced the battery 3 times with known good ones. There is power going to the connector for the ignition switch, but nothing happens when switch is actuated. Anymore recommendations?

   
     First thing first, did you replace or remove the fusible links at the starter ?  The fusible links are there for overload protection and should never be completely removed.  Fusible link repair.
     You stated that you have 12V at the ignition switch, have you tried to turn the switch to start and check the power to see if it is still 12V ?  Reason being we have had a rash of bad battery cables going bad lately on members trucks, the 12V will be there when idle, but when load (IE. try to turn truck on), the voltage disappears.  This is due to a bad battery cable(or other wire in line) (positive or negative), being internally weak or corroded and you can not see it with your naked eye.  You can check this as I said before by checking for voltage when you are turning the key to start, the proper way is to do a load test or amp draw.
     Check for amp draw or voltage when you try to start and report back your findings.  Also very important, if you removed the fusible links, click on the link and read how to fix, replace them before proceeding.

First off put the fusible links back in, as bake said they are important, also they don't have anything to do with your lights, horn, gauges, etc not working. Have you checked to make sure the tumbler is actually moving the ignition switch to a different position and that there isn't an issue with the rod or tumbler further up the column?

On second thought that wont have anything to do with your accessories not working either because your lights and horn should always work. Could be a high resistance ground, there isn't too much in those trucks to go wrong..

Battery cables.  Replace them both.  Don't even think about it.
