1979BIG10:
Anybody know of a good cheap cdplayer around? Looking for the cheapest if not free cd player. Truck sounds good enough with exhaust and motor but need something to keep show tunes out of my head!! I'm just using the radio and single speaker in dash for now until I can buy some cheap speakers for the cab corners. Any ideas? 1979 CHEVROLET BONANZA BIG10350 GM Crate Engine ZZ4 14X5 K&N Filter1406 Edelbrock1 5/8" Heddman Headers2 1/2" Dual Exhaust with X pipe and Flowmaster 40 Series Mufflers350 Turbo Transmission3.07 Gearshttp://www.geocities.com/cjhicks1

With a truck as nice as the one you got, why skimp on the stereo?
You could afford to put a high dollar engine and exhaust into you truck, surely you could spend a couple hundred on a stereo.
No offense, just my opinion.
Try ebay for some good prices on stereos.

psc:
Radio with the in-dash speaker.  Brother you do have it badd!  You could put a shaft-style reciever with tape in the opening and put some 4" on the dash in small boxes.  Possibly some 6X9's back in the rear corners, or find some 6X10 that WILL fit in the rear corners.  But LOOSE the in-dash speaker. Trust me!
Wires run good in the door's weather strips.

pioneer makes a kick butt cd player...Supertuner! it the model....for like less than 200 dollars...
the one i have is like a 60w per channel...
and with a 150w amp will push at least 2 10's and small mids and highs with no prob...

but like in the earlier post...if you want something cheap go to ebay... 81 chevy lwb350 4-bolt stockth350 - stockstock truck no mods YET!pics soon to come!
