Backup lights
« on: July 05, 2008, 12:43:48 PM »
86 GMC C1500

I've noticed that if I "jiggle" the shifter while in Reverse that my backup lights work.  There is some play with the shifter which I would expect.

Is the neutral\backup switch adjustable or does this mean I just need to replace the n\b switch with new?

Thx in advance.

There should be some adjustment in that switch so that you won't have to jiggle the shifter. There's two screws where it attaches to the column are what you're wanting to look for to make your adjustment.
