Title: Dimmer rod replacement question.
Post by: fitz on September 23, 2017, 10:59:52 AM
Working on an 85 Chevy M1009 Blazer.
I lowered the steering column (non tilt) down to replace the ignition switch.  When I removed the ignition switch the dimmer  rod fell out.
Any recommendations on how to put this back in?  There is a little triangular piece of plastic on the column behind the directional/wiper stalk.                      Does this piece pop off to gain access for reinstalling the rod? I can pull this piece loose, but figured I'd ask before forcing it off.
  Thanks for any suggestions.
