85 Suburban 454
Previous owner pulled a lot of emissions stuff off the motor, including the line to the butterfly valve on the drivers side exhaust pipe
1. With no vacuum, is it open or closed?
2. Does it need to be hooked up?

I'd remove the vacuum line and tack weld it open.
