Just caught up on the thread, too...

What did you do have to do on the hubcaps? Were there dents to remove and polish and what paint did you use?

The hubcaps were faded, but in otherwise near perfect shape.  I polished them on a cloth wheel with stainless polish, then taped off the areas I wanted to paint (that was kinda tedious).  I used satin black Rustoleum, and then Allis Chalmers yellow for the bowtie (close enough to the yellow ochre to suit me).  I think they turned out pretty nice.

what size wheels are those?  I'm guessing you ordered them because of the picture that shows 4 boxes from Stockton wheel.  hub caps look pristine now.  nicely done for sure.  was that a cloth wheel on a bench grinder?

Fronts are 16x8, rears are 16x10.  Correct on the bench grinder.
