HALP!!! 85 c10 rear brake size 11x2 or 11 1/8x2 3/4

Didnt know which category to put this in but.....I need to install new front brake hoses but there are two sizes listed and they are based on whether or not you have 11x2 or 11-1/8x2-3/4 rear brakes.  How do i tell what size they are....the auto parts stores said something about a J1 or J2 or J3 code in the glove box but the only J listed in mine is a J55.

Measure it.  Ruler doesn't lie. (then you KNOW what you have)

Wait a minute, take the old ones with you.

There should be another J code on the spid label. You only have two choices so either mathc them up or pull the drum to check.

Yep that is really the only way... Unless some one changed the rear end... Been there done that.  I forget the differences in the hose but I know the calipers are different.  If I ever have to do it again I will be matching the caliper to determine what the braking system was originally with the truck.  My $.02
