Title: Proportioning valve question
Post by: Ace1984 on December 02, 2004, 03:20:00 PM
I am installing a new brake proportioning valve and there is a wire on the top of it and i was wondering where it was supposed to go? And also i was wondering where to find a stock one besides in the   catalog?

The wire lead goes to the brake light in the instrument cluster.  Autozone, NAPA or any big parts store will have it.

If i wanted to use a adjustable proportioning valve, would there be any difference between the way that it hooks up and the way that a stock one hooks up?
