Greetings from Southeast Wisconsin
« on: August 31, 2018, 01:53:32 PM »
Hey everybody - just dropping in to introduce myself. just got a good roadside deal on a 1986 Chevy C10/Silverado with a 350 and a 700R4 transmission. It's in excellent shape, frame included. Its my first truck (the lady and I sink most of our time (and money) into motorcycles :) ), so go easy on me. I'm sure I'll need plenty of help with it.

It had been running perfectly until last weekend, when I started it up and all power shut off. No headlights, radio, dash - nothing. But I'll take that over to the Electrical section.

Anyway, happy to be a part of such a cool community, really looking forward to learning how to take care of this beauty inside & out. Cheers!

fixed your pic. you need to right click on the img and then click "copy image address" then use the img code. if you go to modify your original post you will see what i had to do.

also check you battery connections at the battery and on the starter. if they check out check your fusible links from the battery to the firewall
