New here
« on: February 04, 2019, 05:58:55 PM »
Hey I'm new here, I've got a "1985" hodgepodge K20 (350sbc/700r4/np208/14blt). Swapping the body with one off of an Arizona M1008. The frame is a K20 (I think), the cab is off a 1980 c10, bed unknown, axles are off a K20 (Dana 44 3/4 ton front, Corporate 14 bolt non posi rear), Leafs are supposedly off a K30. Motor is a 350 bored .040 over, comp extreme 4x4 cam, Brodix aluminum Ik180 heads with matched Brodix intake, Quickfuel carb, roller rockers, speedpro flattop pistons, Forged crank, Northern aluminum rad, electric fans, HEI. Transmission is a kind of built up 700r4, rebuilt transfer case, rebuilt axles. Wiring is junk, cab is pieced together, bed and hood are shot. Frame has small holes just in front of the rear leaf hangers. So yeah, for a grand it wasnt a bad deal, but it definitely needs TLC.
