lost an eye in the wind at the park on my sons 3rd birthday party, so i promptly pulled out a sharpie and made him a pirate

Awesome Irish! Great job!
-
this is really awesome.. lol never thought of making one.. nice.
-
Very cool. You have inspired me to craft my own pinata at my boy's next birthday.
-
its tricky, the arms and legs broke apart with no problem but the chest idk if it was too stuff with candy but it didnt want to break so when the kids weren't looking after hitting it 30 or so times i took my knife to the tape. part of my problem also i wires the legs to wire coming out of his head so the legs couldnt fall off next time i might make it so it breaks

Top shelf, Irish!

thanks, it was kind of stressful as much time i put into him trying to get him right, from the bend in the arms to trying to make it to scale. if you notice the picture of him done but not dressed hes holding a couple stress relievers. needless to say we had him covered in them by time we call it a night.

ok so the tradition continues (minus one year) i wanted to do a truck and thought it would be really cool to make my crew cab and maybe 38s or something on it. but then i thought about how sacrilegious it would be to have kids demolish a chevy so i turned it in to bigfoot.
-
so i had already measured out my crew cab so i just went with those minus the back door and the scale is 1:8.25

as you can see the tires turned out to be 8" tall and 4" wide

taking the first hit

he didnt break anything on the first hit but a few hits later and she started to come apart. there was about 10 lbs of candy in it with room to spare. we messed up the batting order cause about half way was one of the older boys and he just killed it
-
i did run out time on the project as to why theres not any decals in the truck
-
So freaking sweet
-
Cool
-
Very cool. I especially like how a Ford took the beating.
-
Excellent, congrat. My dad never did that for me :-S
-
so its getting to be that time of year again. trying to come up with a new ideal, maybe a dump truck or something. a tanker could work but doing a semi would be way too big i think
