Title: TH-350 vs. TH-350C filters:
Post by: Stewart G Griffin on October 27, 2017, 02:11:40 PM
Is the trans filter for a TH-350C different from a regular TH-350?

i thought the 350C has a notch cut out of it vs. a regular 350 which is square.

However, the AC Delco site lists the same filter as compatible with both transmissionses.

i don't want to drop the pan unless i'm sure i have the right filter.  i have a 350C

250-350/c's are all the same. You're good

Yes, it turned out that the TH-350 and TH-350C use the exact same filter.

BTW on these trucks with TH-350's, the back two pan bolts are blocked by the trans crossmember, BUT you can get to them with a 1/4" drive socket----and some patience.

Check to see if your transmission mount is good and not sagging
