Is there anything wrong with it or is the previous owner just really numb?

The guy I got it from needed to get it out of the place it was at and he thinks it has a blown head gasket. It fired right up for me but I haven't checked it out. The body is near mint and the truck apparently came from Virginia. It's got Dana 60, THM400, NP208 and very low miles. I'll go through it later. I just realized that my Wii connects to the internet and I just downloaded Zelda, Super Mario and Castlevania. I think I'm just gonna veg and take it easy today lol

The hood/front fender placement is as good as any I've seen.  I wish mine were that good.

I think due to the low mileage and it being in Virginia had a lot to do with it.

I do some work for a guy that has had one of those for about 10 years. He is a contractor and has had multiple other trucks over the years and says not one of the newer trucks is nearly as good as "ole Camo" as he calls it. He puts about $2000 a year into it he claims to keep it worthy of trips from northern NH to Nantucket. More than once I've seen him roll out of town with that loaded with firewood to take with him. He was going to sell it this spring but changed his mind when he found out the buyer was just going to take the axles out. He had the injection pump fixed and kept it instead. Glad he did, I like to see that truck around.

There are about a dozen of them running around here. Any where from perfect condition, to rust buckets, to lifted with a 454 swapped in. Two of them have plows on them. Plus the next town over from me the highway dept. has two if them, and one Blazer, all three have a plow. That same town's police dept. has two of the Blazers.

Vile, did you look on the door to see if this is a M1028 or a M1008? Both of these trucks came with Detroit lockers in the rear but the M1028 also came with a limited slip in the Dana 60. Thats why we see these turned into plow rigs.
Irish, I think finding a CUCV Military pick up for $200 is once in a lifetime deal, but around here in Mass it's not to tough to find a rotted out 1 ton with a Dana 60 in the 1K range. This may be the cheapest way to score your Dana 60. Between selling off the unwanted parts and the scrap value of the truck you will get your Dana 60 and may make some $$ on the deal.
