The last few things have been buttoned up. Finished the switch panel wiring for the front and rear floods and other items I may add later.

Then glued the rear view mirror in place and drank a celebratory beer. Truck is insured and ill title it tomorrow

What, drinking a beer?  that usually feels pretty awesome  8)

In all seriousness, it looks really good man. Reminds me of the color of my old Blazer. Post some pics when you get it out of the dungeon.

Been idling and making short trips just to work some crud out of the tanks. Probably change the fuel filter and go from there. Hope to bring it home this week.

Went to the gas station today. Tried tilting the nozzle and all and the passenger tank took just under 16 gallons. Drivers side took 6 and we estimated about 10 gallons in it. Cant be sure now but I might have 16 gallon tanks instead of 20s.

Ive put a few hundred miles on daily driving. So far i had the driver side shoulder belt fail after a dozen uses. Switched the passenger side over an ill call and complain monday. Both belts were brand new.

The gas gauge doesnt work with the left side tank so ill look at that this week. I track my mileage anyway so its not a huge deal. No other issues to report.

Ive had several people compliment the truck and one offer to buy it.

Nice truck

I don't pay any attention to the offers to buy

They are 99.9% wanna be's

My son called the other day saying someone had offered him $8k for his
Told him 97% of Americans did not have $8K in the bank
And
Told him he'd never hear from the guy again when he got home and thought it over , plus you'll spend that just in parts building another one

Did younger all stock AC parts ?
