I made my first pass with the new motor this past sunday. It ran a 8.5 in the 1/8 and 13.36 in the 1/4 on street tires. Time for caltracs and drag radials.

It's got a .030 over 454, 9.5:1 CR, comp 286H bumpstick, Patriot heads, th350, 12 bolt 3.42 posi. Man that 60 ft time is dang good for a 5klb 4wd with a m/t. Keep up the good work.

9.30's for a truck of that size is doing well (especially for that tranny)!
 Wifey goes 7.60's @ 89mph normally, best has been 7.54 @ 90mph with a 1.63 60'    Lorne

Thats really good!  My last 4x4 ran 10.40 and I was happy lol.
