Is this what I need for my 2wd C30 with 454? Current headers hit the starter just barely

Are these long tube or 3/4 length?

If you have one of those big el-cheapo starters you may save more money investing in one of the 100$+ starters. If it is hitting the starter "Just barely" the higher end starters tend to be smaller than the cheap ones.

But it all depends on where it hits the starter.

It's an oem starter. If you have a big block in this generation chevy truck and you have headers that do not interfere with other parts, please tell me what you are using. Or let me know what you have tried that doesn't work.

I and others had no problem with these 3/4 length sanderson headers:   Images in link..

I went with 2454 Hookers. They fit perfect. At least an inch of clearance all around the starter. Exits where they should be.Very happy
