Side Mirror Options
« on: September 18, 2020, 12:46:43 PM »
Hi Guys,

Just thinking about changing out my mirrors. My grandpa had the 4-Point Long mirrors cause it was the Camper Special and he had the camper. Now that there is no camper, I don't need them. However, replacing will require fixing the holes in the steel doors  :(

I've had the 3 standard, first 3 pictured and I can tell you, hands down the top one is the best IMO for everything, even towing trailers that aren't to wide.

The Standard Mirror 38-5832 is what came on my 1981 K10 truck and it was a camper truck. Have always been satisfied with it.

These were on my 85 and I am changing them over to the first picture.  Second picture is OK and do the job but I like the third picture is what I change all my trucks to.

Love those, they all look good on those trucks. I will have to fix the holes in the steel in order to replace the mirrors, so that is currently hindering me from making any changes.

Use some copper behind the hole and weld them in or have someone weld in the holes.
