Title: K20 or 30 swap info!
Post by: Chisholmcody on April 13, 2017, 07:56:59 PM
Hey guys! Have had a pretty rough day as I totaled my 1995 12v cummins Dodge Ram pick up
(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170414/963f8119e18f233bcb9b140fa948e9ac.jpg)

But it all happens for a reason right! Just sucks only had 138k on the clock and getting ready for paint......

But now on to the question. I'm looking at buying the truck back, as the motor and trans (47rh) are still good

And now with that being said time to build the dream truck

Looking at a k20 or k30 to 12v swap are there any complete kits with like everything I need to do it or do I have to buy it piece by piece?

Thanks,
Cody

the main thing is the motor mounts and bajaburban makes them just for our trucks. aside from that, thats the only thing i can think of that you need. if you check out the sticky on this board you will see all the common part numbers that you will need

Keep in mind your t-case is driver side drop.  K- series trucks have passenger side drop.  I "think" an NP205 from an 89-93 Dodge Cummins/auto/NP205 will bolt up and will have passenger side drop.  So, you will want to verify that the adapter bolt pattern and spline count are correct before purchase.
