I have a 1986 C10 shortbed Chevy truck, it has the original speedometer and cable that should hook up to a th350 speedo. We swapped that tranny for 4L60 (not 4L60E) tranny (out of a 1992 Chevy Sierra) and I can't find out what i need to do to mesh these together. Is there something simple/cheap i can do?

Does your 4l60 still have the speedometer gear housing on the tail shaft adapter?
