Seeking open car trailer:

Seeking open car trailer with low-profile deck  that is, with 4"drop axles as opposed to straight axles.

i didn't think trailers like this would be difficult to find.....or maybe they are not hard to find and i'm just not looking in the right places....?

It seems most open car trailers are about 20-22" deck height, but with drop axles, you can get them down to about 16"ish.   Then with a dovetail, the load height can be 12"ish.

Not too picky on wood or metal deck or split deck or solid.

Do you know any dealers that  carry this type of trailer?.   Prefer east coast.

You may have better luck locating (or ordering) a trailer with torsion axles, with the maximum "up" angle set in the arms. (*I think it's somewhere in the 20* range, if memory serves)  I know the torsion axles are pretty common.

I have no idea what kinda' drop that might give it.  But, I'm sure the folks who sell 'em for a living can tell you a bunch.

Just my $0.02.  Happy hunting.

I spent most of my money on Jack Daniel's, Copenhagen, pocket knives, and 4X4 trucks.  The rest I just wasted.
