bench seat year
« on: December 24, 2017, 07:39:27 AM »
hi all

I'm in the process of restoring my chevy bench seat, is this bench seat a 73-80 or 81-87 ? as the spring types differ
as I have some springs broken.

my truck is 1985 c10 stepside pickup 5.7 2wd

thanks

With the lever on the side it is a 73-80 seat

thanks
is there a reason its in my 1985 chevy ?
and will a 81-87 seat cover fit this bench seat, as I don't like the seat cover pattern on the 73-80.

seat covers are different, seat bottom is shaped differently on bottom and there are no provisions for the seat belts through the seat bottom as the 73-80 slipped in between and were longer
