Retractable Rear Cab Window, vs Sliding window, 84 C20

Anyone ever try to adapt an electric retractable rear window that is on today's Toyota truck, or that are on a Chevy Blazer, and make it fit in a regular '84 cab rear window? I'm sure I'm not the only one wanting more wind through my hair......
Hope someone has some suggestions, I would like to try.

I think the best way to do it would be to graft the back of the toy cab into the chevy cab. years ago there was a company that did power window for trucks but I think they were sliders, I don't know if they made them go up and down.
just found this...

There are those out there that are custom making them, but no kits that I have found yet. Here is a link and pic of what one person did to make his custom rear retractable window, hope you like to do a lot of custom fab work.

Here is C.R. Laurence Co., Inc. website which has a power slider kit for our trucks, it is like our slider but power, not up and down.

Wow, great. Looks of good info. Wish I was closer to Mexico to find one OEM...
Anyone know who much different the current Toyota setup is, from an '84 C20?

Pimp My Ride did a rear power window on a S10.

Sara's Chevy S10 (13 Mar. 2005)
Might look at some limousine partition kits. (You know the window behind the chauffeur.)

One Piece Products is working on one but it has been a couple months since I heard from him on the status.

that would be bad ass and I would totally get one! I love my rear sliding 4pc window but I like the look of one solid window. best of both worlds. also my sliders won't slide all the way open when my buckets are all the way leaned back

If you look at my second picture, you will see the "rectangular stamp" in the sheet metai, which is the furthest rear, or the immediate outside. However, I have thought that I could come on the front (inside) side of the cab, and could "get away" with roughly 3", and put a "new" wall. I don't think it would interfere with a bench seat not being able to lean all the way in place, not sure, need to do some measuring. If it did, obviously, it would only be at the top. There is 8" from the bottom of the window to the top of the rectangular stamps.
Still hoping someone in Mexico would have one, (needle in a haystack). OR, that a Toyota might work, but haven't found a wrecked one to even look at yet. OR, the limo partition setup........

Well, finally able to get back to my rebuild after a few years, and still looking for a one piece retractable cab window. I had a contact in CA, whose name was Ben, I think, who was in the process of going to production with them, but I can not locate his contact info. Let me know if anyone else has a similar crazy idea, and where to buy such a retractable window.

I found these a while back, but don't know if they have any or just have a listing.

Ok, thanks. I did finally find my contact info for Ben..., and he is the owner of onepieceproducts.com. He is still prototyping his retractable rear cab glass for square bodies, and will likely have it ready in 1 year. I'll be waiting.....
