alighnment?
« on: January 26, 2009, 03:02:35 AM »
I lowered my truck recently and wanted to know if it can be alighned.  Here goes my truck is an 87 Sierra 1/2 ton shortbed fleetside.  I lowered it cheaply.  I cut 1 1/2  coils from the front and it brought it down 4 inches the back has a flip kit which brought it down 6 inches.  The front tires are wearing very bad on the inside.  I just want to know if it can be alighned to atleast help with the problem.

Yes it can be aligned provided the ride height is even. You'll need to take it to an alignment shop not town fair tire etc.

I agree, don't take it just anywhere.  Find a reputable alignment shop.  I have had lowered trucks since 1989 and never had tire wear issues.  Well none on the front. :D
