Recommend fly by wire LS pedal for '85 C10
« on: September 14, 2018, 07:41:39 AM »

O.K., LQ4 is installed and running.  The pedal that I picked up from second hand came out of a Mustang conversion (my LQ4 conversion engine and tranny came out of a wrecked 1990s Mustang (no joke).  I don't care for the pedal.

For the guys who have installed a fly by wire LS swap, which pedal did you use?

I am 6'3", so something a little closer to the firewall wouldn't hurt.

Use the Chevy truck pedal with the 6.5 Diesel!  It bolts right up to the firewall in the stock location!!!  You only need to swap 2 pins in the connector at the pedal for it to work.  I got mine for a 1999 6.5 TD.

Check-out my LS thread here: http://forum.73-87chevytrucks.com/smforum/index.php?topic=34079.30

Start at reply #43 for the DBW pedal stuff.
