Title: window washer moter wiring help
Post by: papas85toy on May 07, 2010, 09:59:55 AM: just joined, great site! i'm rebuilding a 85 gmc stepside and my ? is the wiring for the washer moter.
the prev. owner changed the front end with an older model which did not have moter ,the steering colum has the var. speed control & washer switch. the wire's in engin comp. are gone what wire's, colour's and ware do i find the conections to rehook, up i've looked at the wireing diogram's posted would they be the same as posted for the six cyl,s thank's in addvance

Post by: KY..Rob on May 07, 2010, 04:16:02 PM: I was wondering the exact same thing! I am also building an 85 GMC Stepside. I just got my new to me Jug and Pump, Mine has a Red and White wire, so it has to go up to the Wiper stalk somewheres.

Connect the wires to the washer pump if they are there. What year is the wiring harness?
