Just bought Chevrolet #8

Yup, I bought another one.  I gave $200.00 for a 1977 Chevrolet Bonanza K-10.  It has 3.73 open diff's(12 bolt rear, Dana 44 front), the Original cab and frame (Finally, one that is legal in Missouri!!)  Factory A/c setup, had a rebuilt 350 in it, but that is not mine and will be pulled next weekend.  It is running  TH350/NP203 combo without a part time kit, so there are no lockouts.  It needs rockers, corners, and floors.  I know it will be some work, but, being tired of driving a shortbed and wanting an easier 4 spd swap, I think I did okay.  Also, my 78 K-10 shortie will not be getting cannibalized.  That one is in good shape.  I will get some pics and post them.

I also came across a deal that I could not pass up today.  My father bought a set of 10 bolt, 3.42 ratio axles for his truck with a rear posi with both having under 20,000 miles on them.  He is going to be pulling his 12 bolt rear with an Eaton Posi and 4.10 ratio and his 10 bolt with a 4.10 ratio.  These have about 5,000 miles on them with new gear, carriers, shafts, etc.  He told me that if I want them, I have to buy him a lock-rite pack for his new 10 bolt front.  At $240.00 for that, I can deal with that.  I'll also be getting the 4" lift kit that is on his truck since he will be replacing it this summer.  This truck will be a mud toy and an occassional driver, so, I will have to find tires too.  Any suggestions there?
