Hi,

New owner here from Western NC. 1973 C10 Longbed, 350 TH350. Father son combo, weekend wrenchers. Bad dealer experience, transmission rebuild after only 300 miles ($$$). Zero play in driveshaft hammered the transmission to bits. Lesson learned. Happy to be here!

Welcome from SoCal!

I have roots in Eastern N.C., New Bern and points south.

Looks like a solid specimen, no rust on the hood like so many others.

Best looking example of a '73 grill that I have seen. First year: is it metal?

Can you give more detail on the trans failure pls? No clearance in the driveshaft?

Grill's mostly metal  :D
Seller installed a 6" flip kit incorrectly, leaving zero travel on the slip yoke.  Here's what the trans filter looked like after he supposedly changed the oil 30 miles previous. All round bad dealer experience, at least the truck is mostly solid. We have her set up correctly now, about an inch of slip yoke showing out of the trans housing.
