Title: ? about intake manifolds

i have a 84 GMC with a 305v8 i wonder if a EDELBROOK INTAKE 2701 with the EPS on it well work on my 305 befpre i buy one.

Are you running stock everything? The quadrajet won't fit on that without an adapter which will kill power.

I'm running a #2701 manifold and a #1406 carb.  It's basically a tweaked #2101 designed explicitly for squarebores carbs.  I don't see why a manifold that works well on a stock 350 won't also work well on a stock 305.

Also, there's no EGR on that manifold, don't know if you have emissions for that truck or not.

im not running a stock carb. i have a edelbroock carb & no EGR i think i going to use it & see whats going to happen.

Same here, on my 305. Great set-up with improved drivability over stock.
And as TXRed said, you may want to consider if you have emission checks because the 2701 is a non-EGR manifold. If so, the 3701 seems to be the only option to keep your EGR, but you'd need a square-bore adapter for the 1406 carb.
Also, another component worth considering is the Edelbrock 2101 cam kit to go with your set-up...just a suggestion (no, I don't work for Edelbrock).
