A friend of mine built this truck and I helped from time to time. The next owner gave it a hard run into a ditch at 60+ and I ended up with the truck. Got me a new frame and away I went.

If I remember right it was 5-7 drop and the frame is jacked up. Had to swap stock spindles to get it high enough off the ground to drive.

Had to beat the fender in to get the door open.

Surprisingly none of the bumper brackets, bumper, or core support was damaged.

New frame

Blasted, painted.

Phone I had at the time broke and I lost pictures of the frame going together. I used QA1 ball joints, rebuilt the control arms with Polly bushings.

New frame still has old parts on it to move it around.

Bed sitting on my small trailer. That was a real pita to do myself

06 5.3/4l60e on the left. 99 6.0 on the right

R10 tanks, sending units, r30 radiator.

How far the fender sprung

Realized a strap broke when she hit. Luckily new frame had a set.

Tejas mounts

This is where she sits for now. Got to get a few things off the old frame, swap some axles around and paint a few things
